The Online, Summative, Test Administration Manual (TAM) provides districts with all policies and requirements governing administration of the South Dakota Smarter Balanced and South Dakota  Science online, Summative assessments. The TAM is required reading for all districtand school-level users who will be administering tests in 2019-2020 school year.

The Online, Summative Proctor (PR) Script provides the PR with information that can be easily referenced and printed during the day of test administration. It includes the PR script that must be read aloud and login procedures for students taking the online, Summative assessment.The PR Script is only one section of the Online, Summative, Test Administration Manual.

The Simplified Test Directions is a designated support that allows Proctors to simplify or paraphrases the test directions found in the Online TAM or PR Script according to the Simplified Test Directions Guidelines. Use of this support might require a separate test setting.

District, School, and Proctors/Teachers can use the Online, Summative, Test Administration Checklists to prepare for online testing.

This single digit (1-9) multiplication table is a non-embedded accommodation for Grade 4 math items and above.  This is to be used only for students with a documented and persistent calculation disability (i.e., dyscalculia).  This can be printed for students requiring this accommodation.

The designated support for simplified test directions allows the test administrator to simplify or paraphrase the test directions found in the test administration manual according to the Simplified Test Directions Guidelines. Students who need additional support understanding the test directions may benefit from this resource. This designated support may require testing in separate setting to avoid distracting other test takers.
